What is inside the HQ Vault?

Headroom HQ Team

Last Update o lună în urmă

The HQ Vault currently contains the following:

Verdicts (V-01 to V-06, with new entries every month)

A Verdict delivers a definitive editorial position on a specific operational decision that most frameworks refuse to answer directly.

Each Verdict includes the context (the real problem beneath the surface question), the position (a specific recommendation with explicit reasoning), and the operational implication (what implementation looks like and what happens if it is not implemented). One Verdict per Issue.

Visual Frameworks (VF-01 to VF-06, published alongside each Verdict)

Every framework delivered in an Issue exists as a Visual Framework in the Vault — a single-page reference architecture designed for use during implementation, not just reading.

Visual Frameworks are designed to be printed, added to a Notion workspace, or shared with a team before a planning session.

Operational Failure Archive (OFA-01 to OFA-03, with new entries every other month)

Documented operational failures at real companies, built from Tier 1 sources including SEC filings, court records, regulatory orders, and official investigation reports.

Each OFA entry is mapped to the HQ Score dimensions most relevant to the failure, the specific warning signs visible before the failure, and the direct application to a $15M–$150M operations function.

Note: OFA-01 is also available to all visitors. OFA-02 and OFA-03 are also available to free subscribers. All new OFA entries (OFA-04 onwards) are Vault-exclusive. Free subscribers get 2 new OFA entries per year, while Vault members get 6 new OFA entries per year.

HQ Universe Reference Cards

Six Company Reference Cards and 18 Character Reference Cards for the complete HQ Universe.

Company Reference Cards cover each company's revenue stage, industry, character roster, all connected Issues and Vault content, linked OFAs, and the HQ Score dimensions most prominently featured in each company's arc.

Character Reference Cards cover each character's operational archetype, their specific decisions across the archive, the transferable lesson their arc teaches, connected real-world failure cases, and reading path guidance.

Note: preview versions of these cards are available on the Ghost website.

Dimension View

The investigation layer that brings all HQ Vault evidence together around a single HQ Score dimension.

Instead of reading one piece of content at a time, Dimension View lets you investigate a problem across Issues, OFAs, Industry Articles, Glossary terms, Verdicts, Visual Frameworks, and other connected resources, with primary and supporting relationships showing how each piece of evidence relates to the dimension you are investigating.
